FAR END OFFERS OUTSTANDING DRAFT AT READY TO RUN SALE
7 October 2019

Jane Thomas’ Far End Farm will, once again, be bringing forward an excellent draft to this year’s Emperors Palace Ready To Run Sale.
Far End Farm will be offering (as agent) 34 two-year-olds for sale at this year’s auction, with this imposing draft including lots by such proven and popular stallions as Dynasty, Elusive Fort, Flower Alley, Master Of My Fate, Oratorio, Pathfork, Pomodoro, Querari, Var and the increasingly successful Vercingetorix –to name but a few!
One of the standout lots in this draft is the Coup De Grace half-sister (Lot 13) to last season’s G2 Haval Motors South Africa Umkhomazi Stakes winning millionaire African Warrior, with this filly also hailing from the family of top fillies Enchantress, Laverna and Siren’s Call.

The Tapit sired Coup De Grace is also represented here by Harlequin Jack (Lot 100) a colt whose seven time, stakes winning dam is a daughter of G1 winner Cool Success.

African Warrior’s red hot sire, and former Equus Champion, Vercingetorix is represented in this draft by Vertigo Again (Lot 59) with this filly being a half-sister to the smart G3 performer High Voltage.

Sadly decased top sire Dynasty is the sire of the cleverly named Steeplechase (Lot 55) a colt whose winning dam is a half-sister to top sprinter Tiger Territory and a ¾ sister to outstanding producer Scented Samantha, while the increasingly successful Querari is the sire of Incense (Lot 96), a filly from the very same family.

Another promising sire represented in Far End’s draft is Master Of My Fate, and the latter’s two colts are a colt (Lot 62) out of a four time winning half-sister to G1 winner, and top class broodmare, Kournikova, and a son (Lot 74) of Flamboyant Stakes runner up, and five time winner, Keep On Dreaming.

The ever popular Var, twice Leading Sire of 2Yos in South Africa, has two in this draft –Sumida (Lot 15) is a daughter of G3 Jacaranda Handicap winner, and top-class producer, Azabu Park, while the colt (Lot 86) out of Merry Go Round is out of a half-sister to G2 Gimcrack Stakes winner Blaine and fellow 2YO stakes winner Bogart.
Other potential standout lots in this draft include the Global View colt (Lot 43) whose dam is a full-sister to short-lived G2 Al Rashidiya winner Forries Waltz, the Futura filly (Lot 48) whose dam is a half-sister to 2 stakes winners, and the Legislate filly (Lot 139) who is from the outstanding Best In Show family.
