Heversham Park Farm will be offering an eight-strong draft at this year’s Emperors Palace Ready To Run Sale.
This draft includes two-year-olds by such stallions as Visionaire, Black Minnaloushe, Coup De Grace, and Flying The Flag, and is worthy of close attention.
Maple Street (Lot 22) is a colt by proven G1 sire, and Leading First/Second Crop Sire of his generation, Visionaire. This colt, a half-brother to a winner, is out of a stakes placed five time winner from a prolific Brazilian family.
Fenellopea (Lot 41) is a daughter of Black Minnaloshe –whose progeny include the likes of Louis The King, Ash Cloud, Gold Onyx and Kochka. The filly in question is a half-sister to two winners, including Irridescence Stakes winner Anglet.

Regally bred Galileo horse Flying The Flag, a full-brother to a pair of G1 winners, has two members of his first crop in Heversham’s Ready To Run draft. Resolute (Lot 51) is a half-brother to three winners and is out of a half-sister to G1 Empress Club Stakes winner Fair Maiden, while Newsie (Lot 58) is a filly whose stakes placed dam is a half-sister to G2 Fillies Championship winner Park Lane.

Coup De Grace is another first crop sire represented in the draft, with the son of Tapit the sire of Danceindamoonlight (Lot 67). The latter, closely inbred to the great sire Storm Cat, is out of a ½ sister to G1 SA Fillies Classic winner Athina, with this filly hailing from the immediate family of R9 000 000 yearling buy Masaki.

Other intriguing lots in this draft include Sierradeltasierra (Lot 64), a Where’s That Tiger colt out of the SA Fillies Nursery third Indigo Princess, and Refinery. The latter (Lot 110), a colt by the well performed Noble Tune, is out of a winning half-sister to stakes winner Loupe and is from the family of champions Horse Chestnut and Monyela –to name but two!
