WINTERBACH STUD OFFER FOUR AT NATIONAL 2YO SALE

 

The picturesque Winterbach Stud, nestled just outside of Stellenbosch, will be offering four smart two-year-olds at this years Emperors Palace National 2YO Sale.

 

The farms draft, all offered as agent, is made up of lots sired by all of Flower Alley, Querari, Oratorio and Twice Over-all proven G1 sires!

 

Flow Forever (Lot 186) is a colt by Flower Alley, whose top male runners include champions Ill Have Another and Lukes Alley. This well bred colt is a half-brother to three smart winners notably exported Racing Association Stakes winner and G1 Cape Guineas runner up Viva Rio, and further back this is the family of the very promising filly Bequest.

 

Viva Rio and Bequests hugely successful sire Oratorio is represented here by Rios Kiss (Lot 241), a half-sister to two winners including the promising Second Base -a winner of two of his first three starts to date, and further back, this is the family of Cape Guineas winner Kilindini and champion Kiss Of Peace.

 

Querari, consistently among South Africas leading sires, is the sire of Supreme Quest (Lot 330), and this filly, a half-sister to 4 winners, is out of a full-sister to Graham Beck runner up Lightning Lecture and half-sister to the dam of champion Edict Of Nantes.

 

Last but not least, Twice As Wild (Lot 382) is a filly by European champion Twice Over, the sire of, among others, dual Vodacom Durban July winner Do It Again. This well bred filly is out of Spook Express Handicap heroine Wild Ash-whose third dam won the Italian Oaks.
